KEY SKILLS
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, laws, and standards (e.g., DPA, POCAMLA, POTA and other regulations, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential compliance issues.
- Ability to manage data and information confidentially.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Good interpersonal & communications skills for both written and oral presentations.
- Clear and logical thinker with well-developed report writing skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to build relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in law, or a related field, a Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar certification is a plus.
- Additional certifications in risk management or industry-specific compliance programs are a bonus.

LOCATION
Nairobi

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a compliance officer role, legal department, or regulatory affairs.
