Accountant

Our client is at the forefront of electronic waste recycling and circular economy innovation in Africa. As Accountant, you’ll help drive financial accuracy and accountability across its growing portfolio of impact-driven programs from safe e-waste handling and training to regulatory compliance and donor reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and support audits
- Prepare timely internal and donor financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking
- Manage payments, invoices, and statutory compliance
- Track project and grant funds, ensuring proper allocation
- Collaborate with operations on inventory and asset accounting

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA Part II or higher
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting (NGO or donor-funded work is a plus)
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel
- Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and compliance
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused
