About the Role
The ESG Analyst will support the development, integration, and monitoring of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives across the organization.
The role involves collecting and analyzing ESG data, assessing risks and opportunities, and contributing to strategies and disclosures aligned with global standards and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, manage, and analyze ESG-related data from internal and external sources across business units.
• Track ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare periodic dashboards and reports.
• Support the preparation of sustainability and ESG reports in line with frameworks such as GRI, IFRS S1 & S2, and the UN SDGs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify ESG risks, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate and auditable ESG data records and support assurance and audit processes.
• Contribute to ESG strategy development, target setting, and implementation of sustainability initiatives including Net Zero and circular economy programs.
Monitor emerging ESG regulations and trends to inform business decision-making.
Support internal and external stakeholder engagement and ESG communications.
Benchmark the organization’s ESG performance against industry peers and global standards.
Qualifications and Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, International Relations, Public Policy, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in ESG (e.g., CFA ESG Investing, GRI, SASB FSA, TCFD, ISSB/IFRS S1 & S2, or ISO 14001) are an added advantage.
• 2–5 years’ experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate governance, impact investing, or responsible business practices.
• Solid understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, data platforms, and disclosure standards.
• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of emerging ESG regulations and global sustainability standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player.
