Program Coordinator, AI & Operations (Full-time)
Location: Nairobi (flexible overlap with U.S./EU hours)

We’re a small, high-velocity team powering Silicon Xchange’s December 2025 AI convening and our VI platform MVP and we need a hands-on Program Coordinator who moves fast with AI tools.

Role Overview
*You’ll own day-to-day project ops, partner with the CTO and Head of Partnerships, and spin up social content with AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Ops
-Build/maintain timelines, trackers, and status reports
-Run weekly stand-ups, follow up on action items, and flag risks
-Coordinate deliverables across the Founder, CTO, partners, sponsors, and vendors

AI-Enabled Content & Social
-Produce rapid-turnaround assets in Canva AI, Lavable, etc.
-Edit short video/audio clips in Descript; draft and schedule posts
-Pull basic performance metrics and run simple A/B tests

Community & Event Support
-Moderate and grow our Slack/WhatsApp channels
-Support logistics for pop-ups and meetups (RSVPs, materials, venues)
-Assist on-the-ground at partner events

Process & Playbook Development
-Document AI workflows and best practices
-Surface insights to the CTO and Founder for product and messaging tweaks

Must-Have Experience
-2–4 years in program management, event operations, or startup ops
-Hands-on with AI-first tools (Canva AI, Lovable, Descript, Cursor)
-Strong written/verbal communication and flawless follow-through
-Existing network or active interest in Nairobi’s tech & VC ecosystem

Nice-to-have
-Experience with accelerators or tech hubs
-Familiarity with community platforms
-Basic data skills—comfort pulling simple engagement metrics
