We are looking for a HR Officer to provide administrative & operational support to the HR function.
The role involves ensuring efficient execution of HR processes, accurate record-keeping & compliance with policies & labor laws contributing to the achievement of both HR & overall business strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Support in drafting employment contracts, offer letters, and renewal documents. In line with company procedures.
- Support in employee recruitment, selection processes as well as employee separation and contracts management.
- Assist in onboarding and coordinating learning and development activities.
- Support in Health, safety and welfare of employees, benefits administration and support in staff motivation initiatives.
- Support in the implementation and tracking of company policies and assist in tracking staff compliance.
- Ensure there is a conducive and clean work environment with adequate facilities.
- Process travel logistics, vehicles maintenance, stores management and business licenses.
- Support performance management processes and employee appraisals.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare reports and analyze HR data.
- Management of work permits, legal compliance and smooth employment operations for foreign workers.
- Maintain employee leave records and assist in tracking balances.
- Distribute HR communications such as memos, notices and policy updates.
- Participate in periodic audits of HR records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent knowledge of HR / Administration processes and best practices is critical.
- Person of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task and get assigned tasks done to a good conclusion.
- Excellent planning, organizational skills and good reporting skills.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural environment is desired.
- Excellent problem solver, team player with good interpersonal and assertive communication skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or a business-related degree with a higher diploma in HR.
- Member of IHRM and preferably be a registered HR practitioner.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy HR department in a similar capacity.
