Field Officer - Uasin Gishu, Kenya

Since 2006, North Star Alliance has been delivering high-quality health services to mobile populations across Africa. Through innovative public-private partnerships, we provide HIV/AIDS prevention, care, treatment, and other essential health services to truck drivers, sex workers, and the communities they interact with.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee outreach activities at the project site
• Conduct health education sessions for truckers and sex workers
• Educate, coach, and motivate peer educators/mobilizers
• Ensure achievement of outreach targets and proper documentation
• Coordinate referrals and follow-ups with service providers and partners
• Build linkages with government and partners to leverage resources
• Conduct HIV Testing and Counselling
• Prepare periodic activity reports

Qualifications
• Diploma in Social Work (Degree in Social Sciences preferred)
• At least 3 years’ experience in outreach work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• HIV Testing Services Certificate an added advantage
• Skills in mobilization, facilitation, reporting, and leadership
• Computer literacy

Position: Full-time

Reports to: Project Coordinator

Start date: Immediately
