Role Overview
• Position: Chief Accountant (Chief Finance Manager)
• Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
• Location: Office-Based (Full-time, onsite), Nairobi
• Net Salary: KES 300,000
• Target Start Date: Mid-October 2025
• Department-Finance
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Candidate profile)
• Male, 35+ years of age
• Available to work Monday – Friday, Saturdays rarely if required
• Must be onsite, full-time
• Strong leadership & management background
• Proven experience in service-based industries
• Experience managing at least KES 20M monthly
• Vision-driven professional with future projection capability in the SMS space
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA(K) or ACCA qualification is mandatory
• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting with 3 years in senior role
• Solid knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and regulatory compliance in Kenya
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and advanced excel skills
• Experience in Technology or service-based company is an added advantage
