Job Title: Smartphone OS Software Marketing Specialist
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Purpose
We are seeking to recruit a **Marketing Specialist** to join its global marketing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in **localizing smartphone OS marketing strategies** by providing insights into user behavior, capturing social trends, integrating local marketing resources, and adapting global marketing content for the Kenyan and African market.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on local users’ smartphone software habits (feature preferences, challenges, and scenario needs).
- Prepare **user analysis reports** to support the HQ marketing team with strategy development.
- Monitor user feedback on competing OS software and identify opportunities to highlight the advantages of our OS.
- Track social, cultural, and seasonal events and provide marketing suggestions linked to OS features.
- Analyze local social media platforms (Facebook, X, TikTok, etc.) to predict trends and suggest engaging content themes.
- Build and maintain a database of local marketing resources, including **KOLs, influencers, media platforms, and offline channels**.
- Coordinate partnerships between HQ and local stakeholders, e.g., influencer content creation and joint retail promotions.
- Translate and adapt HQ marketing materials (copy, video scripts, campaign guidelines) to suit local languages and cultural context.
- Train local sales and marketing teams on OS product knowledge for accurate and consistent promotion.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Commerce, digital marketing or any related areas.
- At least **3 years’ experience** in marketing (IMC, brand management, social media management, or related fields).
- Prior experience in the **smartphone or technology industry** is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in **English**; knowledge of **Chinese** is an added advantage.
