Position Title: Technical Field Facilitator - CoLMEL and Action Grants (2 Positions)

Contract Type: Regular (1-year renewable)
Contract Duration: 7 years
Duty Station: Kakuma - Turkana County

1. About ADRA Kenya
ADRA Kenya is a faith-based humanitarian organization that strives to demonstrate God’s love and compassion through sustainable development and emergency relief. ADRA Kenya is committed to improving access to health, education, sustainable livelihoods, and resilience-building services for marginalized populations.

2. Project Overview
STRONGER is a 7-year multi-sector project seeking to enhance the equal enjoyment of sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) of adolescent girls and women (AGW), especially those affected by gender-based violence (GBV) and disability in indigenous, remote, resettlement or urban poor areas (IRRUA) of Kenya, Cambodia and The Philippines. The project is an initiative of ADRA Canada, its Canadian partners (Salanga and Health Bridge), along with ADRA offices and other key local stakeholders in Cambodia (CA), Kenya (KE), and the Philippines (PH). In Kenya, the project target area is Turkana County (Turkana West sub-county).

3. Summary of Role
The Community Facilitator helps ADRA Kenya work closely with the community. They support local groups especially girls, young women, youth, and community leaders to plan, monitor, and learn together using the CoLMEL approach. They also help community groups apply for and manage small action grants. This role is based in the community and supports training, mobilization, data collection, grant follow-up, and sharing stories of change.

4. Key Responsibilities
4.1. Community Engagement and CoLMEL Implementation
a) Help train youth, girls, women, and local leaders on CoLMEL tools and simple ways to collect and use data.
b) Assist in setting up and supporting CoLMEL Groups in villages and helping them stay active.
c) Mobilize community members for meetings, trainings, or special events when needed.
d) Act as the main contact between the community and ADRA Kenya to share information and feedback.
