WE ARE HIRING TUTORS (NURSING DEPARTMENT)

Requirements
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
• A valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
• At least one-year experience in teaching or in healthcare academic setting
• Computer literate with evidence

ROLES
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the nursing curriculum
• Use innovative teaching methods including simulations, demonstrations and case studies to enhance learning
• Mentor and advise students on academic personal and professional development matters
• Identify and address students learning needs to ensure their success
• Prepare and administer tests, assignments and exams to evaluate students’ progress
• Maintain accurate records of student’s performance and provide constructive feedback
• Oversee students during clinical placements ensuring they gain hands on experience in line with course objectives
• Provide guidance and feedback to students during to students during practical sessions
• Participate in the review and development of nursing curriculum to ensure it meets regulatory and industry standards
• Incorporate the latest evidence based practices and trends in nursing education
• Ensure that all teaching activities comply with nursing council regulation and standards
• Prepare documentation required for audit, inspections and accreditation

• Strong knowledge of Nursing principles, practices and ethics
