Job Description:
Caliber First Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves managing transportation, inventory control, warehousing, and general supplies, ensuring efficiency and compliance with all safety standards and operational protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to supervise the logistics and warehouse teams and drive continuous improvement.

Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for implementing and monitoring logistics software and inventory tracking systems, while also ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. This position is crucial for maintaining seamless operational flow and contributing to the overall success of the company's diverse operations in construction, insurance, publishing, media, events, and logistics.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any other related field.
 • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar position.
 • Strong knowledge of logistics processes including transportation, inventory control, warehousing, and general supplies.
 • Proficiency in logistics software, inventory tracking systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
 • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance, and safety standards.
 • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 • Ability to lead and supervise logistics/warehouse teams and ensure adherence to safety standards and operational protocols.
 • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
 • Proven ability to optimize logistics operations and improve efficiency.
 • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
