We're hiring: Chief Operating Officer
We are looking for an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to join our team and help lead the Fleming Initiative.
In this role, you will work alongside the Initiative’s Director, Professor Alison Holmes and the Executive Chair, Professor the Lord Ara Darzi, to deliver all aspects of this ambitious programme. Responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of the purpose-built Centre (due to open in 2028), operationalising a programme of interdisciplinary AMR research, establishing a culture and mechanisms for public engagement and convening and securing and managing further financial resources necessary to meet the Initiative’s current and future needs.
The ideal candidate will have substantial senior-level experience in a relevant sector, including higher education, life sciences, healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry, or financial operations.
