Direct Salesperson

Description

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2/2
● Education:
o Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Bachelor's degree will be an added advantage.
● Experience:
o Minimum of 2 year of experience in direct sales or marketing, preferably in the FMCG sector or Dairy Industry will be a plus.
o Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
● Skills and Attributes:
o Strong communication, selling, and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and within a team.
o Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
o Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
o Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
o Basic computer skills and proficiency in using mobile sales applications.

Other Requirements:
o Must be willing to travel within the region and work flexible hours.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Visit customers daily on an assigned route and provide information about new products and services.
● Ensure orders are processed and delivered on time according to company standards.
● Achieve set sales targets and contribute to company profitability.
● Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with existing and new customers.
● Monitor and report on market trends, competition, and pricing.
● Accurately handle and document customer orders, payments, and receipts.
● Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper use of company vehicles and assets.
● Prepare and submit sales reports and updates as required.
● Represent the company's brand and values in all interactions with clients.
