PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Spez Ltd is a dynamic company specializing in in-house & outside catering services. We are committed to delivering excellence and innovation in our services, and we are looking for a talented Procurement Officer to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities and ensure that all goods and services are sourced in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner. You will work closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain accurate purchasing records while ensuring quality and value for the business and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and terms
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Conduct regular market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant laws
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand material, equipment, and service requirements
- Resolve any supplier or order-related issues promptly
Requirements:
- Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum at least 3 years’ experience in a procurement or purchasing role
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and market trends
