Retail Operations and Sales Manager - Job Opportunity
Nairobi, Kenya

Offer KSH140,000 - KSH150,000 Gross

Our Client, a retail organisation is looking for a proactive, highly organized Operations & Sales Manager to take ownership of daily admin and operational processes, and sales support.

This role is key to keeping the business running smoothly — from managing stock and logistics to delivering exceptional customer service in the showroom and online.

This position reports directly to the Owner.

Key Responsibilities
● Take full ownership of daily operational processes to ensure the business runs efficiently.
● Track and maintain accurate inventory records across showroom and online platforms.
● Issue eTIMS KRA-compliant sales receipts promptly for all transactions.
● Collect and organize all purchase receipts (including supplier invoices) and share them with accountants monthly.
● Schedule and coordinate weekly purchases in line with the approved budget, ensuring stock levels are optimized.
● Organize and schedule deliveries for buyers, ensuring timely, accurate, and
customer-friendly execution.
● Monitor and maintain stock of showroom essentials (e.g., tea, sugar, coffee, toilet paper, soap, wrapping film).
● Assist in scheduling and organizing viewings for the Sourcing Manager.
● Support showroom sales by engaging customers with professionalism and excellent product knowledge.
● Respond promptly and effectively to online inquiries.
● Help maintain product listings across the website and other sales platforms.
● Provide customer service that ensures repeat business and customer satisfaction.
● Assist in tracking customer activity and relationships through CRM tools.

● Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple responsibilities while keeping priorities clear.
● Tech-savvy, comfortable with Excel, basic website updates, and CRM systems. (This aspect will be tested)
● A people person who delivers outstanding customer service both in person and online.
● Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced, growing business.
● A clear communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.
● Previous experience in retail, operations, logistics, or administration is required.
