PROCURMENT OFFICER

Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities and ensure that all goods and services are sourced in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner. You will work closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain accurate purchasing records while ensuring quality and value for the business and our customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and terms
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Conduct regular market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant laws
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand material, equipment, and service requirements
• Resolve any supplier or order-related issues promptly

Requirements
• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Minimum at least 3 years' experience in a procurement or purchasing role
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good understanding of supply chain processes and market trends.
