Job Vacancy- Tour Consultant
Our Company Africa Safari Trips is a Netherlands-based company and is one of the leading safari companies in Africa. We are seeking to engage a passionate and results-driven individual to fill the position of a Tour consultant.

Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tour Consultant to join our growing team. As we expand operations across Africa, we seek individuals with proven experience in safari planning, guest management, and end-to-end tour coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and committed to delivering seamless travel experiences through strong supplier relationships, accurate bookings, and responsive client support.

Key Responsibilities
1. Review and adjust seller quotations; maintain accurate pricing and room configuration in the company booking system
2. Checking pre-confirmed programs and keeping track of unpaid bookings.
3. Make and manage guest reservations, including flights and accommodation
4. Ensure smooth transport operations and act as liaison with sales team
5. Prepare client briefings and confirm all booking details and schedules
6. Support customer satisfaction through issue resolution and emergency assistance
7. Evaluate confirmed sale proposals and ensure invoice accuracy and timely payments
8. Collaborate across departments to maintain quality and operational efficiency
9. Verify confirmed files for correct room count, categories, and booking dates
10. Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to meet company objectives.

Qualifications and Skills
• A Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tour Consulting, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, or Hospitality.
• Destination knowledge of South Africa, Namibia and Botswana will be key for this position
• At least 2 years’ experience in the travel industry, particularly in tour planning
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple client requests efficiently.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work flexible hours when necessary
