Position Title: Internal Audit Assistant
Department: Internal Audit
Immediate Supervisor's Position Title: Head of Internal Audit

ROLE PURPOSE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor Internal Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our organization’s internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in planning and conducting internal audits in line with the audit plan.
- Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Identify areas of risk and make recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Support the Head of Internal Audit in special investigations and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
- CPA/ACCA qualification or equivalent (at least Section 4 or equivalent level).
- CIA or CISA qualification (added advantage)
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in internal or external audit.
- Strong understanding of audit standards, risk management, and internal control systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
