PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGIST

We are seeking to recruit experienced and self-motivated individuals to fill the position on permanent basis:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✓ Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
✓ Advise patients on proper use, dosage, and possible side effects of medication.
✓ Maintain up-to-date stock records and manage inventory levels.
✓ Prepare and label medicines according to prescriptions.
✓ Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, ethics, and safety standards.
✓ Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of drugs.
✓ Assist in procurement of medicines and medical supplies.
✓ Collaborate with clinicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care.
✓ Keep accurate patient medication histories and records.

QUALIFICATIONS
✓ Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
✓ Registration and valid practicing license with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
✓ Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy hospital setting.
✓ Strong knowledge of drug classifications, dosage forms and interactions.
✓ Proficiency in pharmacy management software is an added advantage.
✓ Excellent customer service skills.
✓ Adherence to safety protocols.
✓ Good record-keeping abilities.
✓ Ability to work under pressure.
