SALES MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets for revenue, market share, and profitability.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, developers, and industry stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities, key markets, and potential partnerships to expand the customer base.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless customer service and operations.
- Conduct regular field visits, client meetings, and site inspections to support the sales team and assess market conditions.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
- Ensure sales activities comply with company policies, pricing strategies, and legal requirements.
- Oversee negotiation of large contracts and long-term supply agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the construction or building materials industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B construction or industrial sales.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials such as cement, aggregates, steel, roofing, tiles, or finishing products.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:
1. Existing network in the construction and building industry.
2. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specs (advantageous).
3. Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure, commercial, and residential construction projects.
4. Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
