Merchandiser
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure construction materials are properly displayed and accessible in retail and warehouse locations.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with sales and inventory teams to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Arrange and maintain product displays, signage, and promotional materials according to company standards and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular store visits and inspections to verify product availability, placement, and overall presentation.
• Liaise with store managers, warehouse personnel, and sales reps to execute merchandising strategies.
• Collect data on sales performance, customer preferences, and competitor displays to provide feedback for improvement.
• Assist in organizing promotional events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
• Ensure that all displayed materials comply with health, safety, and labeling standards.
• Perform regular audits of inventory and manage product returns or damaged stock.
• Train store staff on product knowledge, handling, and promotional materials when needed.

Qualifications
• Diploma/ degree Sales and Marketing and/or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a merchandiser or in a similar role, preferably within the construction materials, hardware, or building supply industry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
• Ability to work independently and travel between multiple locations.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
