Deputy Principal - Makini Primary School (Ngong Road Campus)

Job Summary
The Deputy Principal will oversee the teaching staff, ensuring adherence to the school’s daily routine and upholding a high standard of discipline. Responsibilities encompass key aspects of school structure, educational frameworks, staffing, resources, curriculum assessment, student-centered teaching, and the learning environment. Based at the Ngong Road Campus, the incumbent will be an integral part of the school’s leadership team, providing academic and technical services, pedagogical and curriculum expertise to enhance teaching and learning, and support overall school administration.

Key Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A Minimum of a Bachelor of Education degree (Early Childhood Education) from a recognized University
- Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission
- Minimum 7 years of teaching experience and continuous teaching experience in the field, minimum 3 years’ experience as a Deputy Principal/Head of Department/Senior Teacher or in a school leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the CBE curriculum.
