Investment Manager

Our client, a well-established investment management company incorporated in Kenya with over three decades of experience in capital markets, is seeking to hire an Investment Manager. The firm specializes in raising capital from shareholders and third parties to invest in high-return opportunities across diverse sectors.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role holder will be responsible for:
1. Investment Origination & Deal Management
2. Due Diligence & Financial Modelling
3. Transaction Execution & Portfolio Management
4. Exit Strategy & Value Realization
5. Compliance & Reporting

• Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management
• Deal Structuring & Execution
• Strategic Planning & Capital Raising
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Leadership & Portfolio Oversight

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification or Certified Financial Analyst qualification
• Additional professional certifications in investment management preferred
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in investment management, private equity, or related financial services
• Proven track record in deal origination, execution, and portfolio management
• Proficiency in advanced Excel modelling and financial analysis software
• Experience with investment management systems and databases
• Knowledge of Kenyan and regional capital markets
