Retail Sales Representative (Manufacturing Sector)

Our Client, in the manufacturing industry seeks to recruit a Retail Sales Representative. He/she will be responsible for engaging with customers, providing product information, and driving sales to meet and exceed targets.

Reporting to: Sales Manager
Job Location: Mlolongo, Mombasa Road
Salary: 30,000-40,000 Gross

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Conduct product demonstrations for potential clients
- Upsell and cross-sell to existing customers
- Reach out to potential customers through cold calling and door-to-door visits
- Revival of the dormant accounts to increase revenue growth.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their requirements
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the designated schedule
- Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and generate status reports
- Prepare reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products and services
- Prompt collection of sales orders from clients and timely collection of payments as soon as they fall due
- Conduct van sales and market storming to meet sales targets
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Essential Skills, knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing
- At least 3 years of experience in the FMCG or Manufacturing sectors
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have a valid driving License
- Strong passion for sales
- Hardworking, presentable, and professional
- Demonstrated integrity and strong work ethic
- A proactive team player with the ability to take initiative
