CO–DIRECTOR EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENTS

JOIN US IN BUILDING BRIDGES BETWEEN INNOVATION & INDUSTRY
This role will be responsible for overseeing the Kenyatta University Master of Medical Device Innovation Program's industrial linkages, innovation partnerships, and industrial training programs, aligning them with institutional goals and national development priorities.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in industrial engineering, biomedical engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, 3 of which must be at a senior management or leadership level.
• Proven experience in industrial collaboration, enterprise development, or innovation management.
• Strong strategic, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and Maintain Strategic Industry partnerships.
• Facilitate skills development and knowledge transfer.
• Promote knowledge transfer and monitor Industry trends and best practices.
• Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the IVE project, including and not limited to industry engagement, stakeholder events, academic program support, mentor mapping, report writing, people and budget management, and managing the Design Studio to drive innovation and project success.
