JOB TITLE: GROUP FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
REPORTING TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

■ Overview of the Position
Next Level Mavericks Group is an emerging vibrant mid-tier group of companies, with operations in the hospitality; real estate; telecommunications, wellness and fitness. We are seeking to recruit an experienced and strategic Group Finance and Administration Manager to oversee and coordinate the financial and administrative operations of associated companies across all business units within the Group. This senior role is critical to ensuring sound financial management, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making support at the group level.

■ Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Group’s finance, accounting, and administration functions across all business units.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of group financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and Kenya tax regulations.
- Develop and implement strong internal controls and financial policies across the group.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health of the group.
- Lead annual audits and coordinate with external and internal auditors.
- Provide financial insights and support to the executive team for strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Oversee administration functions including procurement, facilities management, asset management, and compliance.
- Supervise, coach, and develop finance and admin teams across various business units.
- High level of skepticism and ability to interpret data trends of multiple sectors;
- Any other duties as assigned by the CEO from time to time.

■ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) or ACCA qualification is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years progressive experience in finance and administration, with at least 5 years in a senior/group-level role.
- Strong knowledge of financial standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in multi-entity consolidation, financial analysis and excellent reporting skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
