PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Overall Purpose
We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our cutting department. He possess a strong understanding of material cutting processes (metal) machine supervision, safety compliance, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily cutting operations in the production line.
• Allocate tasks and supervise a team of machine operators and technicians.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure daily targets are met efficiently.
• Inspect raw materials and finished cut products to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of cutting equipment.
• Implement safety protocols and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report production data, machine breakdowns, and material shortages to the Production Manager.
• Coordinate with inventory, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Train and mentor junior staff on standard operating procedures and machine handling.

Requirements & Qualifications
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a hardware manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cutting tools and machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or cutting instructions.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with production tracking tools or software is an added advantage.
