SALES REPRESENTATIVE
The Sales Representative will be responsible for executing sales activities, managing customer relationships, processing orders, and coordinating delivery logistics. The role involves regular travel, field visits, and working closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Education: A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Must hold a valid and active driving license with a clean driving record.
Key Competencies:
Minimum 2 years of field sales experience preferred, especially in manufacturing or construction sectors.
Familiarity with GPS, route planning, and the Kenyan road network.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Identify new customers and grow existing accounts within the assigned territory.
Conduct market visits, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.
Process orders and coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships and conduct regular follow-ups.
Deliver samples and occasionally assist in order deliveries, particularly in remote areas.
Drive safety to client locations while adhering to traffic and company policies.
Collect payments and follow up on outstanding debit balances.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and submit periodic sales reports.
Participate in marketing activities, exhibitions, and brand awareness campaigns.
Share market intelligence and customer feedback with the team to support continuous improvement.
