HR & ADMINSTRATION OFFICER – 65K
Our client is a Nairobi-based provider of premium building solutions in Kenya, committed to customer satisfaction. As they continue to grow, they seek a seasoned HR and Administration Officer to support their internal operations and workforce strategy.
Key Responsibilities: -
A) HUMAN RESOURCES
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage talent acquisition, selection, and orientation
- Performance & Development: Oversee appraisals, training, and staff growth initiatives
- Employee Engagement: Drive welfare programs, internal communication, and retention strategies
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate records, contracts, and statutory documentation
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal HR policies
- Payroll & Discipline: Administer leave tracking, payroll inputs, and disciplinary procedures
B) ADMINISTRATION
- Office & Facility Management: Oversee daily operations, workspace upkeep, and maintenance coordination
- Licensing & Compliance: Ensure all business, operational, and statutory licenses are valid and up to date
- Vendor & Service Coordination: Manage relationships with external providers
- Logistics & Scheduling: Organize meetings, travel arrangements, and company events
- Documentation & Filing: Maintain structured filing systems and control of administrative records
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR and administrative roles
- Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
